Internships
Internships provide students with an opportunity to explore career paths within your organization and for you to identify upcoming talent for your full-time hiring needs. Internships are generally a one semester experience and are related to an individual’s career goals. Also, internships are monitored and have intentional, specific and measurable learning outcomes throughout the experience.

Additionally, the Human Resource Management Association of Greater Kansas City (HRMA-KC) has developed a guide entitled “Elements of a Successful Internship Program.” This guide is designed to support employers in starting, maintaining and ending a successful internship program.
