During the fall and spring semesters, Career Services hosts on-campus recruiting for employers to conduct interviews with UMKC students conducting full-time or internship searches. The 2008-2009 calendar is as follows:
Fall Semester Recruiting Dates
September 25 - November 19
Fall Break: November 24 – December 1
Spring Semester Recruiting Dates
January 12 – April 17
Spring Break: March 23 – 29

Career Services encourages employers to contact our office before the beginning of the fall and/or spring semesters to request on-campus interview dates. Annette Haynes, Manager of Employers Relations, will partner with you to finalize the best possible schedule. If you would like to participate in on-campus recruiting, please contact Annette Haynes at 816-235-2588 or haynesa@umkc.edu to secure a date. You will then submit your request online by completing the On-Campus Recruiting Registration Form below. Employers may interview on-campus for both full-time and internship positions.
On-Campus Recruiting Registration Form
After the schedule has been finalized and entered into CareerExec.com, students will be able to review your information and submit their resumes for consideration. Employers may pre-select the students they wish to interview or they may interview all students who have submitted their resume. A parking pass will be sent to you closer to your interview date(s).
If you would like to conduct an information session in conjunction with your interviews and/or speak with faculty during lunch, please indicate that request when you schedule your recruiting date. For a successful and well publicized event, we encourage employers to provide those requests early.
