Etiquette Dinner
March 10, 2010
Pierson Auditorium
UMKC Special Events
Etiquette is made up of significantly more important things than knowing which fork to use during a meal. Employers may feel that if you can't be trusted not to embarrass yourself in business and social situations, you may lack the self-control necessary to be a good employee. Etiquette is about presenting yourself with the kind of polish that shows you can be taken seriously and professionally. Etiquette is also about being comfortable around people and making them comfortable around you!
Please join us for this workshop where you will learn not only which fork to use, but how to present yourself in a polished, professional manner.
Tickets will be available on February 1, 2010 for $10 at UMKC Career Services, 4825 Troost Building, Room 205 or at the Bloch School Career Services Satellite Office, Room 16. Cash and Checks are accepted.
