Career Self-Assessments
If you are struggling with one or more of the following questions, you may benefit from completing a career assessment and reviewing it with UMKC Career Services' staff.
- I have a few majors and minors that I am considering but cannot decide which one(s) fit my interests and talents.
- I like my major, but I do not know what kind of a career I could pursue.
- I am unsure if there are particular majors or minors better suited to my possible career directions.
- I want help identifying my strengths and “blindspots” that relate to my major, my academic success, and the career decision-making process.
- I am interested in learning about the types of academic and work environments I would be most successful.
