Department Liaisons

Career Services Staff act as liaisons to specific schools or colleges. The liaisons serve as providers of career support and are available to work with chairs, professors, and staff to meet the career needs of their department. Below are suggested ways in which Career Services liaison may assist:

Major-specific presentations on resume construction, interviewing, job strategy or other career-related topics
Give presentations for professor that must miss a class
Administer and record practice interviews for students
Send major-specific job listings to departments
Post Jobs on Roo Career Network
Answer career-related questions from professors, staff
Set up career seminars with alumni and employers

Career Services is willing to work with you to meet your needs and those of your students. Please contact your liaison with any ideas you may have.

You can also assist your liaison by providing students with major-specific career information, research or contacts. The more we know about your specific field, the better we can assist your students.
