Resume Development - Meet with a staff member for assistance with the development and critique of your resume. (By appointment).
Workshops - Presentations are provided in areas such as resume development, successful interviewing, and conducting a job search.
Mock Interviews - Sharpen your interviewing skills by participating in a practice interview with one of our staff members. (By appointment)
On-Campus Recruiting - UMKC students are encouraged to participate in our on-campus recruiting each school year.
Job Listings - UMKC's Roo Career Network Employment Database lists a variety of full-time/part-time jobs and internships availiable in the Kansas City Metropolitan area as well as nation wide.
Career Fairs - UMKC Career Services hosts several career fairs throughout the year. This is an excellent chance to meet with potential employers one-on-one and learn more about career opportunities in the KC area.
Teacher Recruitment - UMKC Career Services works with the UMKC School of Education in preparing teacher candidates for future teaching opportunities, including special events specific to education majors.

With the exception of a career assessment processing fee, services for UMKC students, alumni and faculty/staff members are free.
